--RHP Jared Fernandez allowed six runs (five earned) in four innings Monday night against Colorado. He is a top candidate for a long relief job. --RHP Rick Helling, trying to build up innings to start the season as a long reliever, is slated to throw four innings or 60 pitches in a minor league game Tuesday. The Brewers will not use Helling in a major league game in case they need to backdate a stint on the disabled list.
